One of my FAVORITE cocktails that are sure to be a HIT at your next gathering!
Makes 1 cocktail
Ingredients:
2 oz gin
1 oz vanilla chai syrup (recipe below)
1/2 lime, juiced (1/2 oz)
1 Tablespoon cream of coconut
dusting of nutmeg
1 cup ice for shaking
Vanilla Chai Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1 vanilla bean, halved
2 chai tea bags
Add all ingredients to a small sauce pot. Bring to a gentle simmer until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cover. Let steep for 20 minutes. Chill and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
Method:
Add ice, gin, vanilla chai syrup, lime juice and cream of coconut to a shaker. Cover tightly and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain in a coup or racks glass with ice. Dust with nutmeg and enjoy responsibly!
